DOESN’T TURN ON

When an electric stove won’t start, first ensure the stove is plugged in and if all circuit breakers are on. You will want to check the pilot light for gas models. If the appliance power cord is plugged in and the pilot light is lit in the oven, it means a different part will have to be replaced. The cause of the problem could be the infinite switch, surface element, oven burner igniter or broil and bake element.

OVEN WON’T HEAT

A burner or stove that doesn’t produce heat does not do much. An oven does not heat if there’s a broken oven sensor or a malfunctioning bake element. Your burner doesn’t fire up if an element breaks or the burner switch or the terminal block don’t work. We are able to fix these common problems in no more than 1-2 hours after an appointment begins.

TIMER PROBLEMS

It is reasonable to assume the control panel on an oven is broken when the program or timer settings are not working. If that is the case, we know how to replace control panels for GE, LG, Sears, KitchenAid, Kenmore and several other brands and models of stoves, ovens and ranges. OVEN IS TOO HOT

You always need a hot oven. Just not too hot! When the heat is too hot, it could be due to a problem with the thermostat or sensor. Our technicians can diagnose the cause of the issue and fix it. Be careful if troubleshooting this issue for fear of burns from the high and totally unpredictable heat.

IGNITER WON’T LIGHT

A reoccurring stove issue is times where an igniter will glow but will not light. The cause is from either a broken electronic control, surface igniter, safety valve or temperature sensor. We determine whether we can repair these appliance parts or if we need to replace the parts.

DOOR WILL NOT OPEN

Modern self-cleaning models of ovens sometimes have door problems. The door doesn’t open after the oven is done cleaning itself. We monitor the door closure, seal and thermostat to find out why the door doesn’t open and then complete the repair in order to resolve the issue.
